A fresh perception of intercession and an Intercessor

I am not come here to discount anyone or anybody who has indulged in a life

of prayer and supplication. Everyone lives and dies through their own merits of who they

are and what they have done for the Lord while on this earth.

I love the dash theory, upon tombstones are written the beginning date and ending date

with a dash in-between. What matters in reality is what the dash stands for, was

a life lived in fullness or wasted, Was it regenerated early enough to grow and make

a difference for the Kingdom of God, or was it wasted wondering around trying

constantly to find the Will rather than live the Will. Righteousness must be pursued,

sought after, desired, and overcome. Prayer is the beginning of that pursuit.

Prayer is spoken of so many times in the Bible; we must be people of prayer, talking

to the Father is taught by Jesus, and Paul. When they prayed, things happen, lives changed, God came and met with man and blest him.

Intercession is not just prayer, it is praying for what is to come in your life and others.

When we pray we are asking God for mercy, judgments, blessings, grace, healing, prosperity, and many other things. In Christianity we talk much about “Standing

in the Gap,” I am not sure that there are many Saints that have done such a thing.

In this short book we want to explore the difference between prayer, intercession and

being called to be an Intercessor. My prayer is that you will find a place of solace

in God and in prayer and be able to enhance what you already know. My desire is not

to change you but to grow you into the Kingdom, to water the seed that is called by

your name and to watch it grow and flourish.

                                                               Chapter one..

Ps 96:6 Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Ps 149:9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor has all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

AS I write this I am so aware that some of those who read this work, live in America, and

America is not a nation that has an understanding of Honor. I recently watched a Man be part of a Service to Honor a Soldier. In the presences of Military Leaders and Military men and women, he was like a fish out of water. He knows nothing of Honor or the meaning of it. Although He was a person of Political Precedence, He had no understanding of what the Honor system of the Military was.

God has placed upon us the Honor of God, so what does that mean? How should that affect our lives, and change us to better serve in the Kingdom. We have developed such a “Papa” syndrome in the church, trying to relate t o our Father, we forget that He is the Creator of the Universe and all things within. Our Father is His Majesty on High, the Supreme ruler of all. We know these things but do we live them out in his presence?

On earth in the presences of Kings and Queens there is something called protocol, you are told how you will approach, what to say, and how to leave. What is the protocol of entering the Throne Room of God. Is there such a thing? What do scriptures teach us to do if we are people of Honor.

Ps 100:4  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Heb 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Jude 1;24  Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

I am not against any teaching about “Papa God,” please lets understand there are time

that you are with your Father and He is in Chambers not on the Throne. These are times

that you can just kick back and enjoy the feast of God. We are to love his presence, as

individuals, not asking him to judge situations, just loving God for whom

He is. When these times come, they are personal, powerful, for your edification.

This is when God honors you for who you are, these are the best of times,

entering His rest and celebrating life with Him.

The times I desire to talk about are when you stand before God in the throne room and

are required to respond to Him in prayer. Maybe you do not know what I am

talking about and that we need to dig a little deeper into the Court room of God. We

will do that in a later chapter. Now we need to understand that we must honor

Him with His presence. I do not care whether you bow your head, knees, lay

prostrate walk around, or sit in a chair, what matters is that you acknowledge that

you are not the most knowledgeable, wisest one in the

room and that you need to listen as well as speak. Respect Him for who you are in the

presence of, never turning your back on Him, always face to face relations. You are

commanded to boldly enter this throne room of Grace, not whimpering or nervous

but with understanding of who you are in Christ. Coming into his Courts with

Praise of Him for what He has done, this creates the proper attitude to approach

His Majesty and be able to speak and be spoken to.

Humility is something that can be discussed, but I really believe that true Humility

takes place in the presence of God. Experience brings a manifestation that must

be heart felt, that is what makes true change. Remember the Beginning of Knowledge

is the Fear of the Lord. Going into the Throne of Grace and speaking on behalf of

somebody and speaking to God as Abraham talked to Him concerning Lot, will

bring you to a right place before him. So lets continue to begin to Honor God and

one another in all we do. Let us Boldly Enter in.
